During early 2023 Andy contacted the team at Olivers Mount Racing in Scarborough, North Yorkshire with an idea of creating a series of event posters. The inspiration for the artwork was based upon vintage/retro travel posters and would feature a racing scene from the Olivers Mount circuit which incorporated a backdrop of  a Scarborough tourist landmark/scene. The first poster was given a trial run for the Bob Smith Spring Cup in April 2023 and was very well received by Olivers Mount and the fans and spectators, and it was agreed that Andy should become Artist In Residence at Olivers Mount, a position/partnership he still holds to date.

The ideas for racing scenes come from extensive research of Andys own personal photo collection (ranging from 1976 to present day), and from the Olivers Mount archives which Andy has been granted access to. The Scarborough backdrops are based on photo research, past and present, alongside first hand observation/visits. The artwork is initially created by traditional analogue drawing/painting technique, before being scanned into Andys computer to receive the finishing touches and the addition of the border and text.

Andy attends all events at Olivers Mount and frequents the official merchandise stand to do poster signing/chat sessions, as well as occasionally exhibiting his Barry Sheene 'A Day At The Seaside' collection.
